Finishing Strong:

September 21, 2016

Welcome to Finishing Strong ~ a weekly link-up dedicated to families homeschooling middle & high school kids. Each Wednesday, moms just like you share their best tips, encouragement, advice, and more for teaching older kids at home.

I am delighted that families homeschooling middle and high school age students are coming together and finding inspiration in one another. That’s has been the goal of Finishing Strong since its inception. Thank you!!

Finishing Strong is hosted by me here at EvaVarga along with my friends – Heather from Blog She Wrote, Megan and Susan from Education Possible, and Heidi from Starts at Eight.

Finishing-Strong-500x500I know you will find the posts that have been shared with us inspiring! Grab a cup of tea, kick back, and take some time to check out the wonderful posts shared below. What are your favorites?

The post with the most clicks last week was:

Five Powerful Historical Fiction Novels for Middle School by Megan at Education Possible.

The two posts I liked the best were:

We are avid travelers and I was impressed as I read Around London in Eight Destinations by Claire at Angelicscalliwags to learn how they’d given their teens the freedom to explore London on their own. We’re on the brink of doing something similar. The kids are the ones who do most of the navigating when we are traveling as it is … especially in the subway.

I also really enjoyed Time Management for Teens by Heidi at Starts at Eight. My daughter is beginning to take courses at the community college this fall in addition to a couple online classes  time management is thereby critical for her success.

As always, thank you for helping us to make Finishing Strong a key resource for families who are homeschooling through the middle & high school years.
