Journey Around San Francisco from A to Z ~ Book Sharing Monday

In preparation for our upcoming road trip through northern California, we read Journey Around San Francisco from A to Z by Martha Day Zschock. The illustrations are beautiful and the text is rich with history, geography and cultural information! I actually took a few notes of sites I was previously not aware of that we now hope to take in while we are there.

Throughout the book, a friendly pelican guides explorers of all ages on a beautiful tour of the city, pointing out intriguing sights and fascinating history along the way. Ride a cable car. Cross the Golden Gate Bridge. Explore Alcatraz, the Presidio, and Muir Woods. Learn about San Francisco’s diverse population and rich cultural life. A journey awaits on every page.
