a few days late … Imagine a Place is a gorgeous companion to the critically acclaimed Imagine a Night and Imagine a Day. I reminds us that imagination is powerful enough to take us anywhere we want to go.
Imagine a place that makes you feel as free as a bird. A place where getting there is worth whatever it takes. Imagine a place that makes you feel like it’s always been your destination. A place made of pure imagination.
Rob Gonsalves’s exquisitely conceived paintings leave you in awe of his imagination. They bring to mind the work of M.C. Escher and as a result of reading this book, we look forward to someday doing an art study whereby we will focus upon Gonsalves, Escher and Thomas Barbey.

Certainly a new twist on house boats. Interesting.

Oh this is a beautiful book. All the illustrations and play on words. We saw it in a toy store and thinking it’s going to be a surprise gift one day next month.
